Santa’s elves were out in force in Loddon over the weekend, delivering Christmas hampers to a number of elderly residents, who are living on their own, or will be along over Christmas.
The team of volunteers from ChetChat have been using donations during the year to provide this very welcome gift which included a home made card from pupils of Loddon Junior School.
Jeremy Rowe, who has been supporting ChetChat from the beginning added “Individuals were nominated, then our team of volunteers have been surprising the residents with one of our wonderful hampers. They have been thrilled and its heart warming to see so many people from the community getting involved.”
